Wimbledon

Wimbledon or The Wimbledon Championships is the oldest tennis tournament in the world. It is a Grass Court Grand Slam tournament that has been held since 1877. Wimbledon is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments is the only one that is still being played on the game's original surface of grass. The tournament is held every year at the All England Club in Wimbledon, a London suburb.

The Wimbledon grand slam will take place over two weeks in late June and early July. The events include Gentlemen's Singles, Ladies' Singles, Gentlemen's Doubles, Ladies' Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Junior events for Boys and Girls and Invitation Events will be also be held.

There are nineteen courts that are being used at the Wimbledon grand slam. The main courts are Centre Court and No. 1 Court. All players participating in the tournament are required to wear all white, which is a long time tradition at the Wimbledon.
