January 9, 2010: Davydenko rallied from a set down to beat second seeded Rafael Nadal 0-6, 7-6(8), 6-4 to win the ExxonMobil Qatar Open 2010 title.

January 8, 2010: Davydenko beat top seeded Roger Federer to set up a final clash with Rafael Nadal. Nadal beat Viktor Troicki in his semifinal match.

January 7, 2010: Roger Federer defeated Ernests Gulbis and Rafael Nadal beat Steve Darcis on Day 4 at the Qatar Open. Third seeded Nikolay Davydenko beat seventh seeded Ivo Karlovic to advance to the quarterfinals.

January 6, 2010: Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal advanced to the quarterfinals on Day 3 at the Qatar Open. In other ATP matches, third seeded Nikolay Davydenko, fifth seeded Viktor Troicki and seventh seed Ivo Karlovic also advanced to the quarterfinals.
