Roger Federer beats Philipp Kohlschreiber to advance to the round of 16

Roger Federer defeated Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany 6-3, 6-2, 6-7(5-7), 6-1 to reach the fourth round at Wimbledon. Federer won the first two sets comfortably but was given resistance in the third where he lost in the 5-7 in the tie-breaker. However, he dominated the fourth set breaking Kohlschreiber's serve twice. Federer dropped a set for the first time in the 2009 tournament

In a rematch of the French Open final, Roger Federer will face Robin Soderling in the round of 16. Federer defeated Soderling in straight sets in the french open final and is 10-0 against the Swedish player.
