Tommy Haas defeats Novak Djokovic to set up a Federer Semifinal clash

31 year old Tommy Haas defeated Novak Djokovic to setup a semi-final show down with Roger Federer. Tommy Haas who beat Djokovic at the Gerry Weber Open final a couple of weeks ago, knocked him out of Wimbledon in four sets 7-5, 7-6(8-6), 4-6, 6-3. The semifinal will be played on July 3, 2009. The 24 seed German is the oldest man left in the draw. He can become the oldest Wimbledon Champion since Arthur Ashe in 1975, if he manages to beat Federer and win the tournament. Roger Federer beat 6-foot-10 Croatian Ivo Karlovic 6-3, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) to advance to the semifinal.
