  Andy Roddick has been upset by fellow American   John Isner in the Third Round of 2009 US Open 2009. 55th ranked John Isner beat the 2003 US Open champion 7-6 (3), 6-3, 3-6, 5-7, 7-6 (5) to advance to the fourth round of the tournament. Isner has served 38 aces in a thrilling match that lasted 3 hours and 51 minutes. In the final set tie-breaker Isner moved quickly to 5-3, but Roddick served two consecutive aces to make it 6-5 and Isner won the match on his serve.
