Top seed Gael Monfils lost to third seeded Feliciano Lopez in the semifinals of the SA Tennis Open. Lopez rallied from a set down to beat Monfils 3-6, 6-1, 7-6(1). In the other semifinal, eighth seeded Stephane Robert beat second seeded David Ferrer to set up a final clash with Feliciano Lopez.
