PTT Pattaya Open 2010 - Day 5

Top seeded Vera Zvonareva reached the semifinals of the PTT Pattaya Open 2010 defeating fifth seeded Sybille Bammer 6-0, 7-6(5). Zvonareva raced away to the second set winning all the six games in the first set. She took the second one in a tie-break. Zvonareva will play fourth seeded Yaroslava Shvedova in the semifinal. Shvedova beat Tatjana Malek 7-6(4), 6-1 in her quarterfinal match. Tamarine Tanasugarn and Sesil Karatantcheva also advanced to the semifinals on Day 5.
